Visions Plans Performances

By Stephanie Raper
GSD Reporter

The Grenada School District offers students many different avenues to pursue self-expression. One of these avenues consists of a choral/vocal music program that has grown tremendously over the years. Students get an introduction to vocal performance at Grenada Elementary School and Grenda Upper Elementary and those who excel or show great interest can continue the experience through their high school years.
The students who come up through the ranks of vocal groups at GSD aspire to become members of the Grenada High School Visions Show Choir. Currently under the direction of Jenni Winter and Assistant Director Kim Porter, the show choir boasts 50 members including band and crew. These members must audition for a spot each year and the competition can be tough!
