SPYBOT

1. Double click the Spybot icon that is on the desktop (screen). (Double click is pushing the left mouse button twice quickly.)

2. When the Spybot window comes up, click “Search for Updates”. (“Click” means to press the left mouse button once.)

3. Move the mouse arrow to the white area and Right Click (RC).

4. Move the mouse arrow to “Select All” and click. A black check will appear in front of the items in the list.

5. Click on “Download Updates” and the black checks will turn green.

6. Move mouse arrow to left side of window to “Immunize” and click. Wait for a message to appear and click “OK”.

7. Move mouse arrow to “Search and Destroy” and click.

8. Move mouse arrow to “Check for problems” and click.

9. Let the program run until it finishes. May take 5-10 minutes. Come back later and check the program.

10. A list will appear in the lower white area of items it has found that should not be on the computer.

11. Click “Fix selected problems” at top area.

12. When next message appears, click “Yes”.

13. When next message appears, click “OK”.

14. Move mouse arrow to top right and click on the X.

15. That’s all. Same procedure is used each time Spybot is run.
