AD-Aware Procedure

1. Move mouse arrow to the “AD-aware” icon on the desktop (screen) and double click. (Double click is pressing the left mouse button twice quickly.)

2. Move mouse arrow to bottom right and click on “Check for updates now”.

3. Click on the button “Connect”.

4. Click on “OK” when it appears.

5. Click “Finish” when it appears.

6. Move mouse arrow to lower right and click on “Start”.

7. Click “Next”.

8. Let the program run. This may take a few minutes. Come back later and check it.

9. When program has completed, a list will appear with a box in front of each item. If there is not a green check in the box, move the mouse arrow in the white area of the list and right click (RC). (Right click is pressing the right mouse button once.) Move the mouse arrow down the dropdown list that appears to “Select All Objects” and left click. All items in the list should now have green checks in front of them.

10. Move the mouse arrow to the lower right and click “Next”.

11. When the message appears, click “OK”.

12. Move the mouse arrow to the upper right area and click the X.

13. This completes AD-aware procedure.

14. Perform this operation at least once a week.
