Reading Fair Preparations

The Mississippi Department of Education Office of Curriculum and Instruction is pleased to announce the 14th annual MS State Reading Fair. The State Reading Fair provides students in grades kindergarten through twelve the opportunity to share their favorite book through a storyboard display. The goal of the Reading Fair is to encourage student enjoyment of reading.
After reading their favorite book, students will create a project individually, with a group, or with family members. As a result, the Fair assists in the development of students’ lifelong love of reading.
