Conservation Club Quiz Winners Public Outreach Forester for the MS Forestry Commission George Byrd (back) has led a Conservation Club for fifth grade LEAP students at GMS for eleven years. The club teaches the students about the conservation of natural resources, use of forest products, and wildfire prevention. A Conservation Club Quiz is held at the end of each school year to reinforce the lessons the students have learned. The winners were awarded a variety of prizes from the MS Forestry Commission. |
