2011 GHS Beauty Revue

Grenada High School recently hosted the GHS Beauty Revue. Thirty-nine contestants vyed for the title of GHS Most Beautiful, with Guy Braswell chosen as Most Handsome and Shelby Phelon named Most Beautiful.

The winners were chosen by a panel of four judges, scoring the ladies on a ten point scale in three categories - beauty, dress, and poise. Ties are broken by scores in the order of beauty, dress, and poise.

The men were nominated by the senior class and then voted on by the entire student body. The top six were designated as Handsomes, the top scorer named Most Handsome.
All participants in both the pageant and the handsome voting were required to meet certain criteria. The criteria included a grade requirement of a 70 overall average in their academic classes and a regulation that required enrollment for the entire 2nd semester of the previous school year at GHS.
